Misplaced Lovers

Qiu Yu, a shy doctoral student studying abroad, has a close friend, Jiang Lin. Hoping to help Qiu Yu loosen up, Jiang Lin makes a bold request of his experienced wife, Zhou Hua: that she guide Qiu Yu through an experience of intimacy between a man and a woman. Fueled by alcohol and an intimate atmosphere, this secret lesson in “lifting inhibitions” quietly begins late at night. As physical instinct gradually overcomes reason, the deliberately drawn boundaries collapse amid intense entanglement. This game that crosses moral boundaries is pushing all three toward a precipice from which there is no return.
